The Prophet ﷺ said: “Actions are only by intentions, and every person will have only what they intended.” (Sahih al-Bukhari 1; Sahih Muslim 1907)
Before you begin each night, take a moment to set your intention. You are not here to simply tick boxes — you are standing before Allah, seeking His mercy, forgiveness, closeness and a night better than a thousand months.
Nawaytu an ataqarraba ilallāhi ta’ālā bil-‘ibādati fī hādhihil-laylatal-mubārakati ibtigā’a marḍātih. “I intend to draw close to Allah the Exalted through worship on this blessed night, seeking His pleasure.”The Prophet ﷺ said: “Charity in Ramadan is the best of charity.” Giving on Laylatul Qadar carries the reward of giving every day for 1,000 months (83 years). Every dollar is multiplied beyond measure.
Scholars say: “Spread your charity across all ten nights” — you are guaranteed to catch Laylatul Qadar with at least one of them. Even a small amount given sincerely is transformed into something immense.
