With each passing day we see a mounting death toll and worsening humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Over 12,000 have been killed since October 7, most of them women and children. One in every 200 Gazans has been killed by Israel’s indiscriminate military attacks.
Meanwhile, Australia’s government and major political parties have refused to condemn Israel’s attacks. Numerous UN Agencies and independent non-governmental organisations have observed countless violations of international law, including potential war crimes and crimes against humanity. But Australia remains silent.
Now is the time to act. We urge you to call upon your political representatives to demand a total and immediate ceasefire. Our elected officials must listen to the collective voice of Australians who demand an end to this immeasurable human suffering.
